Examinations
We strongly advocate the student learning skills - employable skills - along with their academic qualifications. We offer two types of examinations:
1. Feedback examinations
These examinations are administered on demand: A student could request a feedback examination anytime she / he chooses. These are normally multiple choice or fill-in-the-blanks examinations administered through the computer. The physical location of the computer decides the fee charged for the examination. These examinations do not count towards any course or degree credit.
2. Evaluation examinations
It is proposed to follow a semester pattern. There would be two semesters January to May; and July to November. We do not call them Fall or Spring semester as we cater to students from all over the earth. Seasons are clearly demarcated for a country but in the earth at the same time different countries enjoy different seasons. Thus, the First Semester is from January to May and the Second Semester is from July to November.
In each semester, we conduct 3 mid-semester examinations with 20% weight for each and a final examination with 40% weight. These examinations require a digital media answer and paper answer. The student may elect to answer the questions online or write with own hand offline.
The online answer must be printed, signed, and posted. The offline answer must be scanned and emailed. The online answer also gets emailed. The offline handwritten answer gets posted. The posts should be earmarked within 24 hours of the email submission. The fees are dependent on the place from which the answers are posted.
